Laughter and Drawing walk hand in hand in this fun-filled class!  A cartoon is a single drawing or series of drawings that tells a joke or a silly story. Students have the opportunity to express their creativity and imagination through drawing, capturing expression, using angles to add excitement, bringing characters to life with motion, and telling a comic story.  Students will also learn about different types of pens and inks, how to hold a pen, and basic line techniques. The Arts can improve motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork! You will find that here at The Durango Art Center where our classes offer enjoyable, non competitive opportunities to explore new skills and individual expression.
